Confirmed speakers include:
For the past three years, Campus Progress and The Nation have organized youth journalism conferences with great success. The conferences have attracted live coverage on C-SPAN and other media attention, and hosted hundreds of young aspiring journalists. This year, we will hold an additional conference in Los Angeles so that young journalists far outside the Beltway have the opportunity to hear from some great speakers, network with each other, and learn skills they need to succeed in journalism.
See highlights from last year's conference:
We expect a capacity crowd, so we ask that those who would like to attend to make a commitment to stay the whole day out of respect to the speakers and prospective attendees on the waiting list. Please dress comfortably, business attire is not required. The deadline has passed to apply for a travel stipend.Barbara Ehrenreich
