The USSA Foundation (USSAF) is the educational arm of the United States Student Association (USSA), the nation’s oldest and largest student organization. USSAF provides training, organizing manuals, and technical assistance to students to build the capacity of the national student movement. The Electoral Action Training (EAT) is a USSAF training created in partnership with Campus Camp Wellstone. The EAT trains student organizers in the skills and concepts of electoral organizing including registration, education, mobilization, coalitions and volunteer management with the goal of building student power.

The WMC Media Intern assists the Media Director & Media Manager. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook and have an interest in media. In addition, candidates must be Internet savvy, have good clerical skills, and pay excellent attention to detail. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, an ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines, and a demonstrated commitment to team work. Climate Lab (http://www.climatelab.org) is filling internship positions in Content Management, Development and Outreach for fall 2009. Climate Lab is a DC-based nonprofit startup that focuses on climate change. In March 2009, we beta-launched a climate change wiki to provide a public platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration on climate issues, including renewable energy, conservation, and energy efficiency.
