Action Network Application
“Being in the Action Network taught us what we needed to know about running campaigns and growing our organization – it made us stronger and more unified.” –Yaissy Solis of CHISPAS at University of Florida
**Application Deadline EXTENDED - October 5, 11:59p.m. EST
Are you working on an issue campaign in your community or on your campus that could use help with strategic planning? Are you a part of a youth-led organization in need of resources to help meet your goals?
The Action Network is how Campus Progress works with youth-led organizations based on campuses and in communities that work on issues relevant to our generation. It’s the way we support youth-led campaigns that can promote positive change to improve people’s lives. Campaigns cover a wide range of issues – from advancing rights for undocumented students in higher education to creating LGBT resource centers.
Members of the Action Network will be invited to Washington, DC, on Nov. 9-11, 2012 to participate in our national Action Summit, which will consist of skills-based trainings and networking with leaders in policy and organizing. Other benefits include:
- Ongoing support in planning and executing campaigns;
- Skills-based trainings and grants that add to their capacity to organize;
- Technical support for local events and forums that educate communities;
- Networking opportunities with experts in organizing, policy, and government
