  1. It has been estimated that if we use all the used vegetable oil current produced to power vehicles, it would replace only 3% of current diesel consumption and less than 1% of gasoline consumption.

  2. I wish we would utilize our oil in the US and spend the next decade developing renewable resources for transportation and energy consumption. In that way, we could use our oil for jet fuel and wean ourselves from contributing more to the coffers of the Middle East. For some reason, buying a necessary commodity from a region with so many radical Islamists bothers me…...
