Campus Progress and HBO Host Premiere of Citizen U.S.A.

Campus Progress teamed up with HBO and Alexandra Pelosi to premiere the filmmaker’s new documentary, Citizen U.S.A., before it airs nationwide July 4th on HBO. Campus Progress’ own Eddie Garcia gave opening remarks and, following the screening, Pelosi took questions from the audience about the naturalization process and immigration in America. Former Speaker of the House and current House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi also made a surprise visit to support her daughter’s film.
