Progressivism on Tap with Tobin Van Ostern & Lindsay McCluskey
On November 16th 2011, a discussion moderated by John Halpin and Ruy Tuxeira from the Center for American Progress was held with Tobin Van Ostern, Communications Manager at Campus Progress and co-founder of Students for Barack Obama, and Lindsay McCluskey, former President at the United States Student Association. They discussed the role of young people in the 2012 elections, specifically regarding what kinds of tactics worked for getting the youth vote, while also mobilizing and empowering new voters.
