Campus Progress and The Trinity College Women & Gender Resource Action Center will host former garment worker Chie Abad. Abad, a former garment worker, speaks out against the inhumane working conditions she endured for six years in a garment factory located in the U.S. territory of Saipan. She currently advocates for non-unionized workers throughout the world.
Trinity College Women & Gender Resource Action Center brings Abad to Trinity to enlighten students on issues affecting women world-wide, and to build coalitions with on and off-campus organizations.
