Ed Burns

Ed Burns (Screenwriter, Executive Producer) spent nine months on location in Africa to film the miniseries last year and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. A former Baltimore police detective and public school teacher, he co-authored the book “The Corner” with Simon. Burns was a member of the award-winning writing staff of “The Wire,” and executive produced season five with Simon.
