"Work in Progress" at San Jose State University

Starting your careers can be confusing, frustrating, and highly competitive. “Work in Progress” provides a forum for students to learn from successful professionals about pursuing careers in journalism and activism. This event will provide crucial knowledge on what types of careers are available and share the steps that young professionals need to take in order to be triumphant in launching their careers.

The panel will feature Yvonne Tran, youth organizer with Californians for Justice and Pete Woiwode, field director for Oakland Rising. The panel will be moderated by Ramya Raghavan, communications and outreach manager at Campus Progress.
