How does the battle over pornography help us think about the political consequences for American feminism of viewing “women” as a class? How do we understand anti-pornography politics as a movement when it springs from two such different impulses? And why did a movement organized around the oppression of women ultimately turn into a movement to protect children from sexual exploitation?
