There will be a discussion following the screening featuring John Prendergast, co-chair of the ENOUGH Project and co-author of Not on Our Watch and Samantha Power, the Anna Lindh Professor of Practice of Global Leadership and Public Policy, based at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. The discussion will be moderated by Campus Progress’ Erica Williams.

Sierra Club and Campus Progress are teaming up for the “Sex and Environment California Tour,” which encourages action on global warming, while raising awareness of the need to expand reproductive and sexual health choices, services, policies, and programs at the community, national, and international levels.The tour features Edna Cano from Belize, a former fellow with International Health Program’s Youth Leadership in Sexual and Reproductive Health Program; and Dorothy Le, the key-note student speaker at Sierra Club’s 2006 California Sustainability Conference. Edna and Dorothy will discuss the global health and environmental challenges that face our world today, including population growth, poverty, and global warming. Most importantly, they will provide students with ways to take action by uniting movements, joining local efforts for reproductive health and rights and the environment, and fighting to change U.S. policies that affect young people around the world!
