2012 Young People For National Summit
From January 13th to January 16th, fellows from Young People For (YP4) came to Washington, D.C. to participate in the National Summit. They were trained and educated on effective ways to engage their peers and communities for progressive political change. 150 students participated in a variety of skill-building workshops led by Eddie Garcia, Immigration Reform Advocacy Associate at Campus Progress. At these workshops, students were trained on a variety of skills, ranging from campaign planning to anti-oppression organizing.
