Co-sponsorship Agreement
Thank you for contacting Campus Progress to sponsor/co-sponsor an event on your campus! Campus Progress is excited to work with you on your event. Enclosed below is information on the many ways in which Campus Progress sponsors events and what a sponsorship with Campus Progress entails.
Speakers
Campus Progress can cover the costs of speaker travel, hotel and lodging, meals, and ground transportation for speakers.
We prefer to help cover the cots of speaker travel with student-lead organizations. If you are working with another organization and would like our assistance with travel costs, we would prefer that you send us a detailed budget and split the costs down the middle.
Normally, speaker travel is booked through our travel agent and you won’t have to worry about booking the travel. If you would prefer to book the speaker travel (or have already done so) please make sure to notify us of the amount and send us the receipts for approval for reimbursement.
Events
Refreshments
Campus Progress can cover $150-$200 for the costs of refreshments for an event depending on the anticipated event crowd. If you are in need of more funds, please send us a detailed budget for your event. If you ‘d like to have pizza at your event, we can order the pizza and cover the expenses in advance, if you are ordering other refreshments, please save the invoice and receipts and send them to our Events Team.
Advertisements
At times, Campus Progress can also cover the costs of expenses for flyers or ads in school newspapers. We normally allot $200 for the costs of producing flyers and advertising. We prefer that students are solely responsible for the publicity on the ground at their campuses to ensure that events are widely publicized. If this is an event with an anticipated larger audience, we can discuss ways in which we can sponsor more advertising, but think it is a great way for students to learn ways to fundraise as well.
Honoraria
Campus Progress does not pay honoraria for speakers. Many speakers do have an honorarium, and this is one way in which we encourage students to speak to the student government, departments, and also fundraise to bring in a speaker.
Please do not hesitate to ask us any additional questions that you may have, thanks!
Sincerely,
Campus Progress Events Team
