Henry Beck

Henry Beck is a City Councilor and native of Waterville, Maine. Elected at the age of 20 as one of the youngest councilors in Maine and the nation, Beck has been called a “promising” “rising star” in Maine politics by Capitol Hill’s Roll Call. On the council Beck has focused heavily on crime, housing, and shaping tax policy. In 2007, he led the effort to defeat a bill in the Maine legislature that would have stripped college students of their voting rights in local elections. Beck is currently a student at Colby College and president of the Maine College Democrats. Beck’s father is a retired member of the Teamsters union.
