Esther Aguilera

Esther Aguilera, one of Washington’s top strategic thinkers, is President and CEO of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), a position she has held since November 2004. Aguilera’s unique expertise – derived from extensive senior management experience in corporate, public affairs, policy, legislation, fundraising and the non-profit sector – makes her a sought out expert.

Aguilera has held positions with Dewey Square Group, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Department of Energy, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and the National Council of La Raza. She holds a BA in Public Policy from Occidental College in Los Angeles. A native of Mexico, Aguilera’s family relocated to the United States in 1972 under hardship conditions. The goal, a better life in which educational opportunities existed. Today the Aguilera’s have achieved the American dream and can call their children a doctor, a leading Washington strategic thinker and engineers serving the U.S. Hispanic community.
