Troy G. Clair

Troy G. Clair is the Deputy Director of External Relations for Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer. In this role, Clair assists the Leader in national outreach efforts to an array of constituency groups. Prior to his work on Capitol Hill, Troy managed the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s (CBCF) Leadership Institute for Public Service which organized networking and leadership development programs for young professionals. Clair also served as Training Director for 21st Century Democrats, a Washington, D.C. based political action committee. Additionally, Clair has worked on several campaigns including John Kerry’s presidential campaign. The Brooklyn, New York native graduated with honors from Duke University with a degree in political science.
