Shani is the associate editor of CampusProgress.org. She is also the Washington correspondent for Colorlines magazine. Previously, Shani worked in the Office of Communications at Princeton University. Shani has written for Washington City Paper, The American Prospect and The Atlantic, and has guest blogged for Ta-Nehisi Coates, Spencer Ackerman, and The American Prospect's TAPPED blog. Shani graduated from Howard University in 2006.
