Melissa Brown
Melissa Brown is a journalism intern for Campus Progress, where she blogs and assists with social media. Melissa was born in Winfield, Alabama, but lived in Japan and England for 8 years. She currently calls Tuscaloosa, AL, home but is excited to enjoy D.C. for the summer.
A rising senior at the University of Alabama, Melissa studies journalism and English and has previously interned with al.com, Alabama's state-wide news site. She will be news editor at The Crimson White, UA's newspaper, for the 2012-13 school year. She is a sweet tea connoisseur, dog lover, and obsessed with all things Alabama football.
