Mary Mahoney

Mary Mahoney is the assistant director of the Pro-Choice Public Education Project, a national reproductive justice organization based in New York City that works with young women. She is a trained birth doula who is also involved in spearheading an abortion doula network in the city that will provide compassionate, non-judgmental emotional support to women seeking abortions. Mahoney is a member of the New York Women Foundation’s Grants Allocations Committee as part of the Committee’s Economic Justice and Security issue group. Prior to joining the reproductive justice movement she worked in women’s economic justice with Americorps VISTA in the South Bronx.
