Laughing Liberally

Laughing Liberally is a national political comedy project delivering smart, savvy, surprising laughter from the Left. Between New York-based shows and a national tour, Laughing Liberally comics have performed before campuses and conventions, bloggers and Presidential candidates. These performers have appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, C-SPAN, CNN and Fox (where we told off Fox on-air), and are regular contributors to the Huffington Post, Onion, 236, OpenLeft and Take Part.

Laughing Liberally believes that humor is an entertaining — and effective — way to communicate about politics. Whether lifting the true-believers out of the blues or crossing-over to less political audiences, comedy can excite and inspire…while making people enjoy themselves. Performances can work with voter registration or get-out-the-vote efforts, or comics can perform shorter sets as part of larger programs.

Laughing Liberally is part of Living Liberally, a national network dedicated to creating social communities around progressive politics.
