Karin Wang

Karing Wang is Vice-President of Programs at the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC).

Previously, Karin started and managed the Los Angeles civil rights office of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). .

Karin has extensive expertise in California and federal civil rights laws governing language access and rights, including access to government programs, health care, legal services and the courts.

She currently chairs the State Bar’s Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services and serves on the boards of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA) of Los Angeles, the Southeast Asian Community Alliance (SEACA), and API Equality-LA.

Karin graduated from Berkeley School of Law and previously practiced with the law firm of Morrison & Foerster LLP.
