Julissa is a staff writer for Campus Progress. She graduated from Ithaca College in 2009. From Fort Worth, Texas, Julissa just finished up an internship at The Washington Independent where she blogged on immigration and Hispanic issues. At Ithaca College, she edited and wrote for the school’s Campus Progress-funded magazine, Buzzsaw, and also freelanced for Ithaca’s local alternative weekly.
