VIDEO: Did the Stimulus Work?
Three years after President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the "stimulus," a senior economist at the Center for American Progress explores whether the bill worked as intended in a great new video. The video features Michael Linden, Director of Tax and Budget Policy at the Center for American Progress, our parent organization, who uses several informative graphics to explore three factors impacted by the stimulus.
"All three were in bad shape before the stimulus began," the video teaser reads, "and all three turned around at almost exactly the moment the stimulus started. Coincidence?"
