Dear Jay,

We don’t think you get it, and it breaks our hearts.

You made a joke about our Bieber video last night. It was funny, but it suggested you didn’t even watch it. We totally know Bieber’s 16 and Canadian—it’s sort of the point of the video. Here's what you said:

We’re Campus Progress, a division of the Center of American Progress, and we do very serious work like supporting the DREAM Act. But we also sometimes do things like search for black people at right wing rallies.
