Network Associate
The Network Associate is responsible for recruiting and selecting participants for and providing support to Campus Progress’s network of young people from across the country; planning and implementing programming and training for members of the network; and acting as a liaison between Campus Progress network members and our advocacy, publications, and events staffs. The Network Associate will strengthen Campus Progress’s outreach to students, student groups, campus faculty and staff, noncollege youth, national and regional organizations, and others in order to foster connections and involvement in Campus Progress’s work and help advance the progressive agenda on issues from economic opportunity to environmental sustainability to civil rights and justice. Associate Editor, CampusProgress.org
The associate editor will work with Campus Progress’s editorial team to assign, develop, and edit reported and opinion pieces by young writers for the web magazine, which covers both politics and culture. He or she will also recruit new writers, contribute original writing to the web magazine, and work with Campus Progress’s network of student-run publications. The magazine runs reported and opinion articles, cultural reviews, video, photos, comics, and other content from a wide range of contributors, mostly young people. View the full description
Editor, CampusProgress.org
The Center for American Progress has an immediate opening for the editor of CampusProgress.org, the daily online magazine of Campus Progress. Campus Progress is the Center for American Progress’s program to help young people make their voices heard on issues that matter. The editor is responsible for managing Campus Progress’s journalism division, which includes the publication of the CampusProgress.org magazine, and overseeing the support that Campus Progress provides to a network of student publications.
