Although Americans know about the conflict in Darfur, activists feel frustrated that there is little movement in the international community. But this week, International Criminal Court prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo brought controversial charges against President Omar Hassan al-Bashir for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. Now a warrant has been issued for Bashir’s arrest. Campus Progress sat down with Moreno-Ocampo to talk about his role as a war crimes prosecutor, youth activism on genocide, and what young people can do.
